This is an action brought by the
beneficiary named in three life insurance policies
to recover the double indemnity for which the
policies provided in case of accidental death. The
jury returned a verdict for the plaintiff which
the court refused to set aside. On this appeal the
defendant has assigned as error that ruling,
various instructions contained in the charge and
two rulings on evidence. Upon the trial of the case it was undisputed
that the plaintiff refused the demand for an
autopsy made by the defendant. The principal
contention of the defendant with reference
